In 2017, Sheriff Svenson was recognized as the NW CIT Crisis Intervention Team Agency Executive of the Year for his continued work involving mental health. He was asked to join a national joint taskforce, through the National Association of Counties & National Sheriffs’ Association, whose goal is to reduce recidivism for inmates through the continuity of health care services for veterans & those on Medicaid.
He is an avid sports fan (#gohawks), enjoys attending local sporting events and, in his spare time, enjoys camping with his 13-yr old daughter, Alayna.

Natalia grew up immersed in hard work, helping at her family’s business, Kamis Nursery. While earning her associate’s degree in accounting, she balanced college life as a nanny before starting her professional career at the Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC). For three years, she worked in HR as the Benefits Clerk—a role she found incredibly fulfilling, supporting people across Oregon in need.
In August 2020, she joined the Oregon State Sheriffs' Association (OSSA)—because who doesn’t change jobs in the middle of a global pandemic? Following four years as an Administrative Assistant, she was promoted to Visual Communications in July 2024. Supporting Oregon’s 36 Sheriffs through her work at OSSA is both a privilege and a passion.
Married to Ivan, they began their adventure together at a young age. Natalia is perpetually optimistic and always up for a good challenge—whether it’s on the stairmaster at the gym or throwing punches in a kickboxing class! She is passionate about preserving her traditions, perfecting Russian dishes in the kitchen and sewing traditional clothing. At her core, she is always looking for new ways to grow and make memories.

Trish Campbell joined the team in June 2023. She started her professional journey in the Truck Insurance Industry, where she earned her Property & Casualty license in both Oregon and Washington. After a decade in the field, Trish decided to stay home with her children while also managing her family's small construction business. During this period, she dedicated countless hours volunteering at her children’s schools and in the community, taking on several board positions with non-profit organizations. For three years, Trish and her family were certified Foster Care providers for the State of Oregon, enjoying a vibrant and often hectic household. Once her children were grown, she sought a career that would allow her to continue positively impacting her community, making OSSA an ideal choice.
She resides in Salem, where she grew up and raised her children. She is the proud mother of four grown children and has two wonderful grandchildren whom she adores!
Trish cherishes time spent with her family and friends. She enjoys camping, hiking & gardening. Above all, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her children and embracing her role as the best Grammy ever!

She also spent three years as an administrative assistant for a logging and agriculture company.
