Summer, 2010 -- The Sheriff's Office is utilizing a new communications service that allows us to send important, valuable information directly to the residents using the latest technology. The Nixle Community Information Service allows us to create and publish messages to be delivered to subscribed residents instantly via cell phone text messages and/or e-mail. Residents can immediately begin receiving pertinent information by registering at www.nixle.com.

The service is free and reliable for our group to use. There is NO spam and no hidden cost. Although standard text messaging rates apply. Messages may include Amber Alerts, missing persons, Be On The Look Out, as well as other relevant safety and community event information. We are very excited to have you experience it for yourself.
